Can I work with Dwell Law if I'm not in Burlington? Yes. Dwell Law offers virtual appointments for clients across Ontario. Most of the legal process can be handled remotely, including consultations, document review, and signing for real estate transactions. Wills and Powers of Attorney require in-person signing at our Burlington office.
What real estate transactions can be handled virtually? Residential purchases, sales, mortgage refinancing, and title transfers can all be handled virtually. New build purchases can also be handled virtually at both the Occupancy and Final Closing stages.
Do I need to come into the office at any point? For most real estate transactions, no. If you are completing a Will or Power of Attorney, a final in-person signing appointment at our Burlington office is required.
